Carl Lackey, My all time favorite. He was a real man of God and loved the Lord. he never got above his simple country raising. He always talked plain and told it like it was. He had a real love for the lost and lead many to the Lord.

I know Harold Sightler has been named but he is one of my all time faves. I used to go to church there years ago when I lived close To Greenville.

Greg Estep
C.I. Scofield
W. A. Criswell
Oliver B. Greene
Phil Kidd
Sammy Allen
Peter S. Ruckman

1993-1994, while in college. I went to Clemson. I also have heard Dr. Melvin Aiken many times before he was at Tabernacle. he used to pastor a church about 8 miles from my home in NC. His church was in Ararat VA. I always went to White Plains Baptist church when I was in NC. Dr. Melvin Aiken is a good preacher also. I went there once in a while for meetings and such.

Well how awesome is that? Dr. Aiken is such a blessing! He seems to have infinate patience, but he refuses to compromise...pretty good mix in a pastor!

Abby,

Please do not take this wrong. Dr. Aiken was the perfect replacement for Dr. Sightler. I was sad to hear of Dr. Sightler's passing, however I was very happy to hear that Dr. Aiken would be taking his place. he was the perfect man for the job.

I feel real bad, somehow I over looked one of the best preachers in the world. Dr. Don Greene.
