No Regrets...

Postby grannygumbo on Fri Mar 28, 2008 7:10 am

The Lord gloriously saved my wretched soul over 50 years ago and I've never once regretted it. Being a Christian is the most wonderful thing on earth. Telling people about Jesus is a blessing to do. I love Jesus, how about you? :)

Who says we can't have fun? Who says it's a dull life? It's not...and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else but serving the Lord with all my might. He's helped me in everything I do. As a young girl, I didn't stray as many did..never drank, never cussed, never fornicated. I married and have stayed married to that one man. I didn't do this all on my own.. but I followed the Bible and it has kept me from sin. Do I sin? Sure do, but boy howdy, I get it right before the night falls. If the Holy Ghost don't bother you over something, then something's wrong... if you belong to God and aren't chastened when you do wrong, better re-think your salvation.

Some say you can be saved and not be a Christian. How is that? To be a Christian means to follow Christ. I know those who get drunk, cuss, fornicate, etc...yet they say they are saved. They live no differently than my lost neighbour up the road. It's confusing to say the least.

Well, I hope everyone who is reading, knows the Lord as their Saviour. If not, why not? Please don't wait any longer ... JESUS SAVES!
